愛蜜麗生前只用匿名出版了7、8首詩，其餘皆是死後由至親：嫂嫂以及情人（同時為哥哥的女友）共同整理出版，因此她的詩未經任何編輯修改，原汁原味呈現她的性格。

本集節目選讀三首短而饒富趣味的作品，談成功、談名聲、談愛情。其中包含罕見的情詩，也讓人聯想起白朗寧（Elizabeth Barrett Browning）的14行詩，一短一長，都是對愛情委婉而又濃烈地描寫。
