《sonnet 108》詩人擅長將思緒訴諸文字，卻無法時時刻刻找出更優秀的方式表達出對少年的愛。為此詩人時常祈禱般虔誠呼喚少年的名字，時光和塵埃不會毀壞詩人的愛，一切都會死亡，但若發現愛的意念，卻會生生不息。

《sonnet 109》少年即是詩人靈魂的歸所，一刻也無法遠離少年；詩人若是離開了少年，仍會回來。詩人必定會遠離誘惑，即使天性使然，若不小心沾染了誘惑，詩人必會淨身，忠誠以待。
